All About Lance!
Lance arrived at our farm about 16 years ago. He had been rescued by his former owner from a farm on the east end of Long Island. He had been found in a pen out in back with his halter embedded in his head from neglect. He wasn’t “fancy” enough to be in the main barn. We can’t answer that question either since he is so handsome and so sweet. He went on to become a lesson horse and 4H horse for their summer camp. His owner brought him to us since she her father had died and she had to take care of her younger brothers and sisters. Lance is now 35 years old and looks amazing. He unfortunately lost his long time friend Saggy in April, but we have found a wonderful replacement in Peanut Butter.
Help Support Lane!
It costs us $160.00+ per month to care for Maggie. Little Maggie only eats one bag of feed per month and six bales of hay. Maggie does require allergy medications due to her heaves.
Yearly Expenses: $2,170 is the yearly cost for Maggie. This covers twelve months of feed and maintenance fees, six farrier visits, two wormings, a dental visit and a vet check.
