All About Simon!
Simon has been with us 12 years and he is about 26 years old. He is a big, solid Percheron, Quarter Horse cross. He came to us as boarder, back when we were a boarding facility. Not long after his arrival, Simon was abandoned with us by his owner due to his owners’ sudden illnesses. His owner had not only suffered a heart attack, but shortly after was diagnosed with cancer. Simon was abused at another local barn before he came to us. He is leery of people and will give you a run around to catch him. When you can get a hold of him, he will let you do anything to him. He is very good with children and has stood patiently while they wove daisies into his mane. He will be your best friend if you have a treat him your hand. Simon could still be ridden lightly if he trusted the person. He is very laid back but also loves to play with his friends.
